The curve or straight edge of the comb is use to scrape the wax off completely or the jagged edge to rough up the existing wax. When the wax appears smooth use downward pressure on the teeth and brush in a cross-hatch pattern up and down your board. This will create little groves in your wax which will create more grip. Simply pull to release the fin key from comb body!
